Welcome to Samantha & Ben's Home Page

Hi, my name is Samantha. I grew up with my brother Scooby with a nice elderly man and I loved my life. But my human died and we ended up with his son. His son put me and my brother out in the yard and we had never been outside before without our human, especially at night. That night there was a horrible thunderstorm and Scooby and I were so very frightened we started running. My poor brother got hit by a car and was killed. The very next morning a nice lady from PRBCR picked me up and took me to the vet to be boarded until a foster home came open - but at least I was safe. Then that very same day another nice lady from PRBCR came and took me home where she helped me find my new permanent home with Chuck and my new adopted brother Ben. I am spoiled rotten now, learning to herd sheep, learning agility and get good night kisses every night and most importantly - I am back inside the house with my human and brother where I deserve to be!

Samantha lived with her brother Scooby and their human dad for 1.5 yrs, but their human passed away. The son had no compassion and placed Samantha and Scooby outside, at night, during horrible thunder storms. For the first time in their lives, they found themselves alone, in the dark and in the storms. They both ran - unfortunately Scooby was hit by a car. The next morning, PRBCR rescued Samantha and got her into foster. She did not stay with us long, because Ben had been looking for a sister to play with. Samantha is a very loved and happy girl in her new home!
