Irie enjoyed a trip to Lake Keowee last weekend with our good friends Mike and Sue. Irie had a ball and looks real handsome in his new life vest. Irie get continues to bring us so much joy! He will be going to Beaufort with us in a few weeks for Shrimp Festival and we have promised him a camping trip when it turns cooler. He seems so happy. "Rita"

Meet Carmen, Irie's "little sister"! She is nine years old and a retired champion Pekingese. Despite the size difference they get along great!	This beautiful red sable Peke is Ty. He died in May and would have been sixteen in August. He was my pride and joy. I had him since he was eight weeks old. I wish he were here to know Irie. Although he was little he had plenty of spunk! Irie's temperment reminds me some of Ty. Playful but soulful.
